Omnidirectional collision avoidance

AITO M7

Fused omnidirectional sensing supports collision avoidance in rain, fog and dust, against threats from front and rear, dips and suspended obstacles, improving active-safety prediction.

Forward collision avoidance

Detects crossing pedestrians, vehicles cutting across and suspended, low or irregular obstacles to anticipate braking.

Lateral collision avoidance

AEB and eAES combine braking and steering assistance for avoidance at speeds up to 150 km/h when pedestrians or vehicles threaten from either direction. See notes 15 and 16 for operating conditions.1516

Rear collision avoidance

When reversing, steps, ditches, slow-moving traffic or crossing pedestrians can trigger emergency braking to reduce collision risk.

Accelerator misapplication alert

If the accelerator is pressed by mistake near a pedestrian or stationary obstacle while starting, driving or reversing, the vehicle limits torque, reduces speed and triggers AEB to help avoid a collision.

Five-star healthy cabin

The antibacterial MOFs filter removes formaldehyde and odours for C-AHI five-star cabin-air quality. Innovative adsorption and breakdown materials, plus infant-contact-grade materials on frequently touched surfaces, support OEKO-TEX mother-and-baby-level cabin health.

Water protection inside and out

Interior spill protection covers 25 common scenarios. Body sealing, protected electronics and wading mode enable an emergency wading depth of 700 mm for flooded urban roads.
